When Sarah began her search for a New York City home, she knew the kitchen would be the heart of it all. She ultimately fell in love with her Brooklyn townhome, captivated by its spacious kitchen and backyard, which made it easy to envision hosting family and friends.

Sarah’s journey began in 2010, when she started her blog, Broma Bakery, as a homesick college student craving her mom’s desserts. Over the past decade, her blog has evolved into a go-to destination for home bakers, featuring a blend of elevated treats like Red Wine Brownies, comforting favorites such as Blackout Chocolate Cake, and nostalgic twists like Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Sarah’s first cookbook, Sweet Tooth, offers 100 easy-to-follow recipes, perfect for all levels of bakers. During our tour, Sarah showcased two brunch favorites: Vanilla Bean-Blackberry Scones and Zebra Cake. And the highlight? The Bumbleberry Tart—an easy yet impressive dish that’s sure to wow guests with minimal effort. Don’t miss her full tutorial in the episode.

As brunch came together, Sarah shared her favorite entertaining tips, from using a king-sized bedsheet as a tablecloth to showcasing stylish tableware from her favorite store, Big Night.

In Sweet Tooth, Sarah encourages readers to bake more and enjoy the process, whether it’s for comfort, nostalgia, or simply to whip up a dessert on a whim. With mostly brand-new recipes, Sweet Tooth is the perfect addition to any home baker’s collection. Grab your copy today!
